Fan Falls onto Field at PNC Park During Pirates Cubs Game - WARNING: GRAPHIC

In the bottom of the 7th inning of the Pittsburgh Pirates vs Chicago Cubs game at PNC Park, a fan fell from the stands onto the warning track.

The game was delayed for 10 minutes while paramedics attended to the fan before taking him to the hospital. Our hope is he is ok.

The question we ask is: would higher guard rails at stadiums prevent this, regardless if the fan intended to jump or if it was accidental?
