USA vs Canada Hockey - Three Fights in the First Nine Seconds - February 15th 2025

Team USA vs Team Canada from Montreal, Canada in the Four Nations Face-Off.

After the host Canadians booed the US National Anthem, the game saw three fights in the first nine seconds.

Matthew Tkachuk fought Brandon Hagel immediately after the opening faceoff. His brother Brady then fought with Sam Bennett as soon as the next the puck dropped. Before ten seconds had gone off the clock in the first period, J.T. Miller and Colton Parayko dropped their gloves for the third fight of the game.

Team USA prevailed with the win by the score of 3-1. They advance to the final in the Four Nations Face-Off on February 20th.
