Pro Bowl WR and Return Specialist, New Orleans Saints NFL CAREER – A speedy and talented wideout/return specialist with a 6-0, 180-pound frame, Rashid Shaheed burst onto the scene in 2022. Signed by the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Weber State, Shaheed was activated from the practice squad in mid-October and made an instant impact, scoring touchdowns on his first two offensive touches. The San Diego, Calif. native appeared in 12 games with six starts, catching 28 passes for 488 yards (17.4 avg.) and two scores, carried four times for 57 yards and a score, returned 20 punts for 193 yards (9.7 avg.) and 14 kicks for 320 yards (22.9 avg.). In 2023, Shaheed looks to continue to further develop into an offensive weapon and deep threat for the Saints after his early success as a rookie.
